The law firm Sokolski Madany Attorneys at Law was founded in 2015 by attorneys Mag. Rafael Sokolski and Mag. Mateusz Madany.
 
We specialize in providing ongoing legal services to both individuals and businesses
operating in the Austrian market, as well as in damages claims.
 
The firm offers comprehensive legal advice in three languages ​​- German, Polish and English.
We draft and review legal documents, advise and represent your interests before the court and in

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Our services cover the most important legal areas of Austrian civil, criminal and commercial law, which means that we represent our clients before respective courts, law enforcement and administrative bodies. As part of our representation, we liaise with on-site notary law firms and real estate agents as needed. In addition, we have an extensive network of contacts with Polish law firms and notary offices. Any of your claims that open in Poland can either be processed by us personally (for example in the framework of the European Payment Order) or through the Polish law firms which we cooperate with on a continual basis.

We draft and review real estate contracts (apartment or house purchase contracts, donation agreements, service contracts, mortgage etc.) and guide out clients through the entire process of a real estate transaction in Austria, including supervision over entries in mortgage register. As part of our due diligence process, we also review real estate offers and related purchase agreements as required.

• Flat-rate contract
• Billing by hourly rate
• Statutory rate of bar services (RATG, AHK)
We cooperate with all Austrian insurance companies offering legal expenses insurances the so-called Rechtsschutzversicherung). We will gladly inform you about details of the billing options and reimbursement of costs in court proceedings during a detailed initial discussion. Mag. Rafael Sokolski was born in 1980 in Warsaw, Poland and has lived in Vienna since 1990. After completing his law studies at the University of Vienna in 2005, he worked as an associate lawyer in well-known law firms in Vienna and in an insurance company. He passed his bar exam in 2012 with outstanding results. Registered as a lawyer with the Bar Association of Vienna since 2013, Mr Sokolski was initially a partner of a renowned law firm in Vienna’s city center from 2014 to 2015. Since the end of 2015 he has been the managing partner of the law firm Sokolski Madany Rechtsanwälte OG in Vienna.

Mag. Mateusz Madany was born in 1982 in Puławy, Poland. He received his education in Poland and Austria. In 2007 he graduated in Law at the University of Vienna. In 2012 he passed the bar exam with outstanding results. He gained professional experience in renowned law firms. In 2014-15 he was employed as a lawyer in a renowned law firm, where he specialized in real estate law. Since 2015 he has been the managing partner of the law firm Sokolski Madany Rechtsanwälte OG in Vienna.
